We invite you to a morning for Warwickshire groundsmen, workers and volunteers.
Warwickshire Cricket Board’s Pitch Advisers, Jonathan Blakeman and Ashley Hill, will conduct a tour of the Edgbaston Community Sports Ground’s developing facilities on the morning of Wednesday 19th October, 10am -1pm.
The morning will start with team and coffee and then the tour will look at the square, equipment, hybrid nets, other nets, bowls green and other ancillary facilities. This will be followed by a buffet lunch, a short Q&A and the presentation of some Groundsmanship Awards.
We are hoping that this will be a good opportunity to get to know Jonathan and Ashley, pick up some tips, meet fellow grounds volunteers (and professionals) and provide impetus for the reformation of the Warwickshire Groundsmanship Association. Please note that event is free of charge to all groundsmen and volunteers.
