At the Warwickshire Cricket Board we know how important volunteers are to our game, and we also know that sometimes there are not enough opportunities to thank them for their commitment and efforts throughout the year. So, we have organised a WCB Celebration of Cricket Dinner on Friday 3rd February at Edgbaston Stadium, with a drinks reception from 6:15pm and first course served at 7:15pm. During this evening we will be sharing stories from clubs about their hard working volunteers, the success stories of clubs & individuals and examples of how cricket has continued to thrive throughout an incredibly difficult time for everyone!
We are asking all clubs to send in photos, videos and stories about their volunteers, or their clubs efforts and successes, and these will be shown throughout the evening! We also appreciate that many clubs and organisations will have lost loved members over the last 12 months, so we would also like to pay tribute to these fantastic people with all of Warwickshire Cricket together. Again, we will be asking clubs to send in photos, or tributes to those they have lost over the last couple of years and this will be shown during the evening. Please send your photos/videos/stories/tributes etc. to [email protected]. For tributes, please include name, years of life, and cricket club in your e-mail.
After a really successful year for cricket, it will be great to get everyone together again to celebrate and recognise everyone’s hard work!
