In terms of competitions we have the following in place and a short overview of the competition.

Under 11 and 13 Softball

• 8 a side festival cricket – pairs
• The WCB will organise a number of regional festivals ( one per region depending on entries) .
• The WCB will organise a festival for the winners of the regional events to provide county winners for ECB Midlands
• Clubs to be encouraged to host their own festivals and invite local clubs ( including cross county border) to encourage additional games.

Under 13 Hard Ball

• 8 a side pairs
• Organised on a local league basis.
• Play in weeks
• WCB to organise Finals day

Under 15 Hard Ball

• 8 a side pairs
• Organised on a local league basis
• Play in weeks
• WCB to organise a finals day to include winners of the Cotswold Hill and Worc comps.

Under 19 T20 Blast

• 8 a side T20 cricket
• Runs after Exams
• Supplemented by an activators course to encourage the girls to arrange an “ Event”
• WCB to organise final with music etc

Womens T20

• 8 a side Tuesday night.
• Its development cricket to encourage more ladies into Sunday cricket
• The principle is NO county ladies players
